"Nice restaurant with great two-story interior space. Tables on two levels but still, somehow, all with a cozy feel to it. Pleasantly lit perhaps a bit too dark for some tastes and friendly and efficient service. We were a party of six, including...a child and a baby. Seat reservations were absolutely necessary every single table had a reservation sign on it! On a Wednesday night. In the off-season! Drinks arrived quickly. The various beers were very tasty. Food arrived shortly thereafter and was very good. Admittedly, looking at the menu, I didn't really love any of the dishes, mostly because I often prefer vegetarian options. There were, however, two of those and I opted for one of those dishes a potato pancake with roasted veggies and topped with melted cheese. I mean, how can you go wrong? The food was quite good, despite my initial reservations. I ate it all, which is generally a good sign. Price was fair, too. Only thing to be aware of is the noise level in the restaurant. The baby, being tired, started to cry. Even though this occurred at out table, one could barely hear the child over the general noise inside this restaurant!!! In other words, if you like it quiet, this ain't for you!"

The restaurant does not comply with the corona health and hygiene restrictions: The staff does not wear protective masks! Do not go here!

The Photos of the interior are spot on. Very warm and cozy inside. I had the beef in beer sauce with rotkohl and dumplings. It was delicious. They also have a good beer selection. I stuck with the dark beer or dunkel and it again...was very good. About two minutes walk from the main square. Very reasonably priced.

Tried twice to get a table but no success. Seems to be no organization at this place. Lots of potential customers just wandering around not knowing what to do and being ignored by the wait staff. This place really needs to organize itself better. My...advice is go when it’s quiet and just enjoy the beer but avoid for dinner unless you book ahead.

We decided to try this place out because it was recommended by Lonely Planet and because my husband likes beer. It was pretty busy but we got a table for right away. I am not really into heavy German food so I had the...salad with smoked salmon which was very good. It had a more flavorful dressing than most German salads. The seasonal bock beer was very good.

We sat for minutes on the stools by the bar, where the staff walk in and out carrying glasses and food orders and we were completely ignored. It was impossible not to have noticed us. So we left. Where service is paramount, people who...work in restaurants should be attentive and, most of all, be friendly and welcoming. There are plenty of alternatives in Quedlinburg to experience local food and good beer.

We walked in spontaneously around and there were no free tables. The server a young man in Adidas- sneakers who's name we didn't catch) told us to be back in a couple of hours. We got back around PM and there were...a waiting line so we had to wait about ten minutes for a table, but the server remembered us and gave us a nice table. It's a very busy restaurant so reserve a table beforehand! The food was really good and their beer was fantastic. The server was very attentive and efficient and we had a great night here.

We came here twice during our visit in September, once for food and to try the beer, and once just for beer. Both times we came in around and had no problem finding seats at high top tables in the bar area. The woman...at the bar was very nice and let us try a couple of tastes before we ordered our beer. We both really enjoyed the Schwarzbier, but the Braunbier was a little sweet, which our server did warn us about. Food was good, but fairly average for pub food. Service was fine, atmosphere was fine. Would come here again if visiting.

The brewery dates back to and is famous for its brown beer, a low alcohol beer with a distinct sweet taste. A very good dark beer with a more usual alcohol percentage, Schwarzbeer, is available too. We visited on a warm and sunny day,...making the beer garden a perfect and cozy place to enjoy food and beer. At present it is not possible to make an advance reservation, but we were lucky and got a table. The food is mainly very good traditional German food, which I highly recommend, but it is also possible to get a house burger, The Lüdde Burger. Excellent service and reasonable prices.

Usually in these kind of German traditional places it is very hard to find vegetarian dishes which are not baked potato with sour cream so when my friends and I stopped here for lunch I was pleasantly surprised. My meat-eating friends enjoyed their sausages while...I had the veggie pizza which I can strongly recommend. It's basically a bunch of baked veggies on some sort of a potato (yes, you can't escape the potato) crust baked with cheese. The ambience is nice (we were sitting in the garden), the service was friendly and they also spoke English. The local beer was excellent, give it a try.
