Brew And Brownie - Carta

I had the most delicious and addictive sweet treats at this restaurant, along with the best Mocha I have ever tasted! The staff was lovely and they had great brownies and a different doughnut every day.

The rocky road brownie I ordered was tasty, but it appeared to be slightly undercooked. Furthermore, I felt that the portion size was not worth the price. If I find myself in York again, I would opt for a different menu item.

Just lovely had a full breakfast and was absolutely delicious managed to get in before the queue got too long. For such a small unassuming place, I can totally understand why people queue, staff amazing and food perfect so glad we managed to get in. Ver carta

Waited 20 minutes for a table (queue is outside), small cosy cafe, service was great (brilliant with my child's allergies) and very friendly. Pancakes were delicious, probably one of the best American style I have tried. Full English breakfast was very good. Would visit again.

This is the top spot in York for brunch. I have visited many times and, except for one occasion when I didn't enjoy something on the specials board (which was just a personal preference), every visit has been fantastic. If only the place were a bit larger to seat more people and reduce the wait times.

Having travelled from the coast for the start of my wife’s birthday we need to start the day with a good breakfast, after looking at reviews and ratings of brew and brownie decide it was the place to go, had read that can be small que and when we got there the que was in place, but only a short wait we looked at the different brownies and pastries that were on offer in the window. When we sat down and read the menu both decided on full English with tea and coffee,when arrived and was all so well cooked correct seasoning all hot and well presented could not fault it, tea and coffee both great and wish we could have fitted in a cake but stuffed. This place has been on our radar for the past 18 months every time we have visited York but we always timed it badly and our toddler was not interested in waiting in line. On our most recent trip we walked past and there was no queue! We were ushered in by a welcoming waitress into the cosy cafe. Our daughter has additional needs and takes some time to settle and the staff were really patient while we had a coffee to start before committing to ordering food in case we had to leave. We were recommended to come here by friends and we are super glad they did. Amazing breakfast and service, there was a short wait outside but we were quickly brought in and sat down after around 15 minutes. We had the fresh squeezed orange juice, eggs royale and the bacon and sausage sandwich with hashbrowns all of it was exceptional and one of the best breakfasts we have ever had. It is clear why is has amazing reviews and they are queuing out the door. The freshly made bakes and pastries also looking amazing. Had brunch yesterday absolutely fabulous. I had the eggs that were the special and my husband had a sandwich that was also a special. The eggs on sough dour toast were scrambled and served with Harrisa tomatoes/ peppers and feta. Totally delicious . Sandwich was full and flavoursome Turkey , pigs in blankets , stuffing …. We also had a sweet treat and flat white coffees these are the best in York ! String and rich. Carafe of water automatically supplied for the table. The staff were so lovely. Friendly and smily.
