"Came here for dinner with my boyfriend, my brother and sister in law for a Saturday night dinner. The ambience and decor were great, a really enjoyable atmosphere to have a meal in. My boyfriend and I shared bruschetta and calamari for a starter, both tasted fresh and were good portion sizes. For main I had the halibut which came with chilli and garlic spaghetti, it was absolutely delicious full of delicate flavours. At £17.95 for a main course, this is a pricey option (pastas are much more reasonable, a range between £8 £12) but halibut is wonderful so it is worth it. They also have quite an extensive daily specials menu...I think there was 5 or 6 things on it, and I wanted all of them which is unusual for me. Finally, the wait staff were excellent there was many of them it felt like every time someone came to our table it was a new face, but they were smiling, helpful and efficient. The only negative i have to comment on is that the toilets upstairs were absolutely tiny and rather claustrophobic. For a restaurant of this size, I hope those aren't the only toilets they offer!"

"What a nice experience tonight! Unfortunately I am away for work during valentines day. Oblivious until I realised that would mean me dining alone on a celebrated night for couples. AWKWARD! Put on my big girl pants and headed to the closest Pizza express (club app is awesome- lots of discounts if you are a fan) because its a easy favourite. Had a laugh with the staff regarding my table for 1 situation. Food perfect- classic pizza express quality. Service was great and attentive and everything as needed, with all requests met with happiness. Asked for a takeaway dessert as Its nice to have a sneaky treat before bed.... but mid snack I realised this was the note the server gave me..... how lovely. We had a giggle on my awkward dining experience, we talked about how being women it's always difficult being out dining alone. But this blew me away! So Niesa (hope this is the right name) thank you for supporting the lady on table 27 at approx 8pm. You are wonderful, thoughtful and a great champion of the pizza express brand! Hope they reward you well for the exceptional service. Happy valentines day!"

"let me start with the positive ones. grub makes some creative paninis/sandwiches and plays some great music. at my first visit I had the hammer of thor in a baguette, which was a beautiful large part and super tasted. the service was very fast and also, although I arrived on a busy Monday during the lunchtime. the negative is that the inner is not the most welcoming. it is a bit naked and economical look. could be 5 stars, but just need this additional touch to make the inner more attractive."

"Have wanted to try this takeaway for a couple of years due to good reviews and a love of spicy food. So finally ordered online last night. Went for the set meal for two consisting of Poppadoms and chutney, two pakoras, salad, two mains with...rice and nan. Had the Himalayan Lamb and Hot Khathmandu Chicken for mains and it was delicious. Everything was cooked really well. Normally with a takeaway you have to re-heat the mains if you eat the starter separately but not in this case, it was all piping hot. Only very slight criticism was too much rice and a plain nan instead of peshwari or keema, but overall an excellent meal. Well worth a try."

"Ordered a takeaway online which was easy to do. Went in to collect and was told to wait 10 minutes which I was happy to do. I got home with my food to realise I was missing my main course and chips. I phoned and was told that these would be delivered in 30-35 minutes. Over an hour later… there is still no food. My partner phoned them to see where the meal was, and was rudely greeted by the person on the phone. The man on the phone said they were ‘busy’ and there was no delivery driver. Outrageous when there was 7 people in the restaurant an hour before. The man on the phone then answered another phone which ran and proceeded to make conversation with the other person. No apology or compensation and at the time of writing this… no food either. Wonder if I will even get it? Disappointing service, but the food we did receive was pleasant."
