It was a bit crazy busy so the service was off a little but the server was very kind and the food was fantastic!

Nice choice of beer. Quiet, warm setting not far from the center of Geneva and the train station. Perfect place for a pint.

Had gone in to watch the rugby. Greeted by a barman who didn't really seem that keen on serving drinks. The prices aren't that bad I guess. This bar just wasn't for me. If you're English you'll probably enjoy.

So maybe it wasn't the right day, not the right time... But the atmosphere wasn't there: the location on the edge of a busy road and the lack of space on the terrace didn't help. doesn't fix anything. In short, it wasn’t great, maybe it will be better next time :

If this is no 1 british pub in Geneva according to TripAdvisor, I don 't want to know what the others should be. First of all, the menu with prices on the website of Astoria does not correspond with the menu on site. Burgers are 5CHF more expensive than on the website, some food is 3CHF more expensive. The waiter didn 't come to us until we called him ourselves, despite the pub being not crowded on Sunday afternoon. The food was mediocre to bad pork ribs were burnt and the Britannia fish and chips is quite a boring selection of tempura under which there 's so little shrimp/ calamar, that you ask yourself why even bother putting anything inside the tempura.
