This is fine dining on a budget. You cannot compare it to real fine dining, but then again the price is much lower. If it wasn't for the rushed and almost rude staff, I would give the place four stars for it's value for money (but with food at 3 and service at 2..

This is one of the places you just miss out on if you are one of those locals attending to the ‘in‘ restaurants. Having been invited by friends I was surprised to find good quality food and wine at fair prices. It may have been...a one off but the meat seems to better suit the chef than the fish.

Nice restaurant with excellent dishes. Set menu definitely has a very good value. Wine list is OK but with a good price level. Place is recommended by Michelin with a bib gourmand. Traditionally we go here for the Schlemmersommer -menu. It is always a pleasure with the meals, although the staff is sometimes not up to scratch (they did not know what one of the courses of the menu was ad had to double-check). The food was food,...but also not as good as the many times before. It is, however, still really a good spot to dine, especially for €64 for the menu for two.

This restaurant follows the sad procession of restaurants that want to imitate french cousine, thinking that a complex dish is a good dish. Instead it is most of the times a cacophony of conflicting, overlapping tastes. In addition the most important ingredients of the dish...(octopus and shrimps in our case) were only of low-medium level. Service again would want to be high level, but if you do not leave the bottle of wine on the table, you must be sure to refill the customer glass as soon as it is empty, not 10 minutes later.

We went with a table of 5 and 2 of us already left a review. Regrettably, the restaurant commented one of the 2 reviews saying that one would have been enough. We disagree with this, as being 5 people, each of us shall have the right to express their own opinion. We took a 5 course menu for five people and a wine paring for everybody (wine paring 21€ each). The wine paring consisted of one white wine, which was paired with the first 3 courses, and one red wine which was paired with the 4th course. The white wine was decent and we judged it adequate for the 1st course, though we would have expected different wines to be paired with the 2nd and 3rd course (what is a wine paring otherwise The r...
