"I went to Brooklyn Cafe during the France Belgium World Cup match. It was crowded but not packed. The two of us found a spot next to the bar with a clear view of their large screen TV. There were maybe five other people...standing at the bar. We ordered, in French, a couple of drinks from the female server. She immediately responded that we must leave, the Cafe is too crowded. She continued telling us this was no joke. She was extremely strident and rude. My friend has lived in Paris for 50 years and speaks fluent French. I lived in Paris for four years. This is not a complaint about the French. I have had very positive experiences living and visiting in France. This is simply a complaint against The Brooklyn Cafe. They treated us very, very poorly."

I only came here for a late night snack: beer, fries and onion rings. I enjoyed everything. Good service and the food was delicious. Based on the reviews, I'd definitely go back and try the burger. On my next vacation!

After a toiling day around Paris was me and my friend were tempted to taste something other than Parisian fare and this was right next to our hotel. We had some of their own-brewed beer which was good and some fries and burger. This is...a must go if you are around arc de triomphe and are craving for some simple food yet in a place that has lot of character. Nothing fancy about the servers but the place is well done with indoors and outdoor seating and the bar has a decent collection to top it all!
