Nice bar and hotel in a great spot in Reeth. Really friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable room with a great view and modern bathroom. The dining room which also doubles up as a great bar is fantastic with a large TV showing sport. Very good breakfast was included in price. Will definitely stay again when next in Reeth. This is a straightforward pub with a warm and inviting atmosphere. It's also very dog-friendly. They offer a nice selection of beers, including Black Sheep, Theakstons, and Tetleys, which we enjoyed during our visit. The food portions were generous, and the meal itself was delightful. I had the chicken, leek, and bacon pie served with chips, vegetables, and gravy, while my partner opted for the gammon with chips, salad, and accompaniments. The service was excellent. This pub embodies what the best pubs used to be like, especially since many have either become gastro pubs or fallen into disrepair. I highly recommend this one! Ver carta
