So lucky to live just around the corner from this fantastic little restaurant. The food is absolutely outstanding and portion sizes are perfect. If you get a chance to go, you must try the tirramisu, it is the best.

The restaurant has a charming interior, but the dishes we ordered lacked flavor. I was quite surprised given the positive reviews I had seen. I decided to return, thinking it might have been a fluke, but unfortunately, the food was still tasteless. Ver carta

We found this fabulous little place last time we visited York. We visited again this weekend specifically to eat here again. We were not dissapointed. This is the best Italian food we've ever had in the UK. Amazing food, friendly and helpful staff. Thanks guys

Extremely cosy atmosphere, quite small place and staff very warm and knowledgeable about their menu. The ratio quality/price was amazing, very impressed by the level of detail of the cooking, you can't go wrong with any pasta dish, or pizza. Good selection of sardinian wines as well, worth mentioning I'm Italian, you really get a good feel of Italy/Sardinian cuisine.

We were fortunate to visit this restaurant as they had just transitioned to a more human-friendly atmosphere. We felt welcomed as soon as we arrived, especially since it was just the two of us. The staff was incredibly friendly, and the food was absolutely delicious. We could definitely understand why this place has such a high reputation. It was the best meal we've had in a long time. WOW!!!! What can I say about this place.... its a little diamond in the middle of a housing estate, but dont let that put you off... its so intimate only a few tables so book early. The food is outstanding and everything is fresh. The chef is a miracle worker to create such amazing dishes and the guys serving are brilliant and can't do enough for you . I would literally travel from Stoke to Buongiorno for a meal its that nice.

After ordering takeout from this restaurant three times over the past year, my wife and I finally decided to enjoy a sit-down meal for the first time in quite a while. The food was absolutely perfect. We had three courses, and each one was presented beautifully. The atmosphere was warm, friendly, and cheerful, with happy customers throughout the restaurant who seemed just as satisfied and impressed as we were. This local gem has become a regular spot for us, and the team has done an outstanding job. Having lived in York for 40 years, I can confidently say that I haven't found this level of quality in Italian food anywhere in the city center or even throughout York.

The service was attentive and prompt, and the beer was served ice-cold in a high glass. The food was prepared with care and passion that is quintessentially Italian.
