"had a nice late vaterday dinner at the Buttercup café today. eating was delicious as always, the staff was fab and service excellent. the waitress heard us talk about who wanted to get the extra malteser when we split a cake and left quietly to get us spare parts! they are the extra bits that sometimes make a difference. would be highly recommended."

Lovely place and great staff. We had the Scottish breakfast. One of the best I've had. Set us up for a wander round the castle afterwards!

secret tip seaweed delicious very friendly house made cake and torte, also the burger at the table next door looked very tasty so if they happen to be in scottland they have to go here to drink coffee!

this busy little caffe in doune is one of my favorites. the workers are all beautiful, eating is fresh, well presented and there are many choices and regular specialties. the cakes are amazing and it will not break the bank.

This is my favourite cafe. The food is always fresh delicious tasty. They do gluten free stuff without fuss. The staff are lovely. The menu is great. The special a few weeks ago was mushroom ristto.....it was the best I've ever had.....please do it again!

Popped in with our 3 boys yesterday and were very impressed. Our dairy allergic son says that the vegan chocolate cake was the best cake he has ever had! The selection of cakes was great and the friendly service fantastic. Will definitely come back that way again.
