"When going to a pizzaria, you really don't expect 'la haute cuisine', but a fairly large choice of different and crisp pizze to which the menu refers in the French plural version as 'pizzas'. This restaurant offers no less than 16 pizza variations (!) ranging from 7.50 € to 10,00 €. On top of that you can choose from 4 'entrées', 4 Bruschette (to which the menu refers as 'Bruchettas' - a starter consisting of grilled bread rubbed with garlic and topped with olive oil and salt with tvarious toppings at choice), 6 different salads, 5 spaghetti dishes, 1 lasagne, but also an Entrecôte and French fries to go along. A daily changing 'Plat du Jour' together with 1/4 ltr. wine at 8.00 € is also available. But what surprised me most: I never visited a restaurant in France where 1 full litre of either red or rosé wine, from the pitcher of course, cost as low as only 6,00 €, 1/2 ltr at 3,80 €. Bottled wine - we ordered a rosé 'Vin du Périgord' at 10 €, which is a country wine from the region that has not been qualified as AOC Bergerac. As only bottled red or rosé was offered, I wondered why no white wine at all, either from the pitcher or bottled was on offer, which might account for my 'average' overall classification of this resaurant. The terrace overlooking the parking lot offered comfortable (plastic) chairs with armrests (!) which I prefer. I ordered a pizza prociutto, my friends the plat du jour which was 'poulet basquaise'. As we ordered a bottled wine, my friends did not receive each the 1/4 ltr wine which actually was included, in the 8 €, but were charged the this amount, nevertheless. Perhaps the service personnel thought that 1 bottle for 4 people was enough. I received a pizza which tasted well, but the bottom of which really was not as crispy as I expected. As we were th first customers for lunch, the pizza oven wasn't perhaps hot enough and they did not want us to wait for too long. Together with us were about some 30-35 people. We had made a reservation which I suggest to all those who intend to give this restaurant a try. Ideal family restaurant and for large reunions with friends, as at 6 € a litre wine, nobody, even the wallet of the host, risk to 'run dry'. I should have ordered an Armagnac, a Calvados or rather a Grappa at 3.50 € as a digestive, then my overall rating would have perhaps included one additional star."
