We came here for lunch after and absolutely loved it.Hreat food service and ambience.Dover sole is the best as are the famous Bellinis.We had not been for years and it hasn’t changed still fantastic.We will definitely be back.

The concierge at Brown’s recommended this restaurant. It did not disappoint. They were extremely accommodating as we needed to change the reservation a few times. It was great to people watch while eating a delicious Italian meal. The waiter was energetic and very professional.

This is a pretty popular place with the celebrities, so if you are into fan clubs , you will definitely spot one or two here.In my experience , my time at this place was only decent but that maybe because of the really high expectations. The service here was of top standards and the food and beverage quite good.The ambiance too is absolutely casual and relaxing. I do not however get the fact that people expect low prices from a place like this! If you are dropping ,don't forget your cheque book!

Had a lovely lunch at C London (formerly Ciprianis). C London is one of the most historic Italian Mayfair classics and its like good red wine, it maintains the high standards of food and service year after year. We were invited by an Italian friend...who's a regular and he had ordered the best starters to share: carpacio, burratta, artichoce salas and fried prawns. Go for it. It was followed by white truffle pasta that was phenomenal. Desserts were a usual Top, marengue cake, ice cream And tiramissu melting in your mouth.

the osso bucco risotto was a huge platelet of allele, gray, tepid, tasteless slop, with a light yellow taste, tepid, risotto on the hte side. the huge portions of the room temperature, barely boiled pasta dishes served the three teenagers was too terrible for cake. three agreed that their kitchen was better. these dishes I guess the price reflects the rent. not eating. it was a lot to do, and the personal ran all around to be busy! they get a broth basket and then bread rolls....so much brot! pudding was a huge piece of cake made from whipped cream and barely boiled merangue. I am am amazed that this place has survived, it is terrible! Ver carta

I really try to cut restaurants slack, as it's a hard business to be in and there are so many moving pieces where things go wrong. However, this restaurant was a bit of a letdown. To preface, we spent GBP USD for dinner...for which is my yardstick this review is based on. For those prices, I expect a lot from the restaurant. The food was good, no question, but absolutely nothing that would warrant that kind of pricing. The wine list was, of course, loaded with great wines but also completely overpriced. Again I knew it was going to be expensive, but to receive good food and good service against those prices, was a letdown. There are so many amazing restaurants in London, I would suggest find...

One noteworthy lapse was that we ordered their caviar. My wife is from Russia and grew up on daily caviar; so she likes to ask where it's from. The waiter checked with his boss, then assured us was from Russia. It tasted okay, but not...excellent, so we suspected it wasn't from Russia; when we finished the tin, we flipped it over and found that it came from Qiandao lake in China. When we showed the waiter the label on the bottom of the tin, he was embarrassed and called the Maitre d' over. The Maitre d' assured us that the lake was in Siberia near the Chinese border, hence the Chinese name. So we looked it up and found that it was in Southeastern China, far closer to Vietnam than to Russia....

I was very excited to try the famous cipriani restaurant. my mother was a regular customer a few years ago and she spoke so much of it, remembered both the eating and the staff in so detail and had even met the owner who sounded. very friendly and kept his facility on a very high standard. the eating was average, absolutely overpriced and she was shocked to see the difference in the service between now and then, and I was extremely disappointed by the behavior of the waiter on our table. we were asked to wait for our table, although our friend had mobility problems and they were aware of it. the atmosphere was quite loud, as the waiter took our order, he had to lean on to hear what we said w...
