Cafe d'Angel - Carta

Very good food in a very small cafe, with little decor or ambiance but the food is definitely worth the visit

This is a lovely little place serving a very tasty menu at reasonable price. Didn’t feel uncomfortable being on my own, and the serving staff looked after me well. Lovely French seasonal food.

Charming boutique restaurant. Highly attentive and friendly staff. Satisfactory wine menu. A very nice place to have a good dinner for a good value. Dense caramelized onions and garlic elevated the rare steak I had to a higher level. Very very greedy dessert, as they...call it, with a coffee was a very nice touch to finalize the evening.

Good food, pleasant wine and friendly. Nicely quirky in that, as other reviews have mentioned, with only one front of house host and two chefs, service is suited to those who like to just take time. Having a newspaper or book, if you are on...your own, or chatting if in company, this restaurant makes one slow down and relax. Although it is non-stop for the waiter and chefs! Overall, a good balance between quality and price. Decor is traditional. Look forward to visiting again.

Cafe d'Angel is very close to the Art de Triumph, hidden behind a sad facade in a narrow side street. Once you enter, you are welcomed by the friendly service. The place was full on Tuesday night, we were lucky to get a table without...reservation. Cafe D'Angel seems to be run by a chef and one aid (visible in the open kitchen) and a single waiter. The latter led to a somewhat slow service but that was okay. The food was delicious. We had the Rillettes de poisson, which was delicious although the sate sauce was a bit odd. Mains were veal Rosso buck and Croustillant au boudin noir both outstanding in flavour. Finally we had a very light dessert of clementines. All that with a bottle of red ma... Ver carta
