Short stop for lunch after a stroll in the vineyard. The staff is friendly and the menu du jour was everything I could wish for. Loved the fresh crushy bread too! Would definitely come back.

A pleasant weekend at the Post Office Inn that we know. The rooms are simple but there is everything we need in this medieval village. The half board is very correct with a very good evening meal and a hearty breakfast. The staff is pleasant, helpful and smiling. Ver carta

Nice restaurant in the centre of beautiful small town. Must visit if you are visiting the area around lunch time. Big terrace under trees, friendly and professional staff and very good food for reasonable price. Recommended. Try tartare de boeuf, crevettes or daurade with very good local wine. I would definitely come again.

The village of Saillon is charming and is worth the detour if you are in the area. If you are wondering where to eat, the Café de La Poste is a reasonable choice. We were there for lunch on a beautiful spring day and sat on their nice terrasse. We thought that the food was pretty good and the local wine excellent. The prices were not too outrageous considering that this is Switzerland. On the negative side, service was very slow and the staff needs to work a little more on their friendliness.

This is a hidden gem of a restaurant nestled in the medieval section of Saillon on a hilltop overlooking the Rhone Valley. We sat in the terrace since it was a warm day but the inside was full too. Apparently, this is a very popular eating place. I ordered a warm quinoa spiced with vegetables and cheese. It was served in a bowl and was very delicious. My glass of red Humagne wine was priced at just 3.30 Swiss Francs – a very reasonable price for this Valais speciality. Despite the full house, the three lady servers did a great job in taking orders and serving dishes without too much of a delay. The next time, I will make a reservation in advance. Ver carta
