Diesseits - Menú

The food here is great! We enjoyed eating and drinking in this restaurant a lot. Everytime I visit frankfurt, it’s my number 1 place to eat!!!

This is an amazing food location in frankfurt! Outstanding steak and burgers! The atmosphere is fantastic and comfortable! I can only recommend this restaurant!

When ever we are in Frankfurt, either to pick up family or friends from the airport or just because, we make sure to stop in at Diesseits either for Frühstück or even Spätstück , since you can have breakfast all day!

You can enjoy various breakfast menu and even hot meals from morning. We went there Saturday morning and stayed over 1.5hrs. Reasonable price and good atmosphere for wide range of visitors from young couple to senior friends. As it opens till late evening, you can also visit after dinner.

Great service, comfy Ambiente. We enjoyed an excellent breakfast here with friends. It was not only plentiful, but also presented in an excellent way that at first we did not want to start to eat but just were in awe of the choices that were on offer. The service was also excellent, always there but never pushy. We would definitely go nach again.

This is your typical lokal but with very high quality daily specials. I have been a few times now and can say their drinks are affordable, especially at happy hour. Our menu selections have been hit or miss... Stay away from soup and pasta, gravitate towards salads or schnitzel. Last time we went the schnitzel and daily menu fish platter were excellent. Only problem I had in the past was irregular serving times where all the food came at different times.

When we first moved to Frankfurt, we lived directly above Diesseits for 2 months in a furnished apartment while we looked for somewhere permanent my google streetview check showed the Cafe below and figured we had somewhere for coffee... oh how I underestimated it. Diesseits was an excellent local bar varied and extensive menu, good drinks and a passable wine offering. Staff were always friendly and the Schnitzeltag on Mondays (selection of Schnitzels for EUR 6 each) and is something we still go back for. Well worth giving a whirl although can frequently be packed, especially when football is on.

Actually, in Toronto, there is a famous dessert franchise called Just Desserts and for some reason, I had almost thought that Cafe Diesseits was just that. I guess I was hallucinating, that, and probably still jet lagged and homesick. It was the first al fresco cafe I've been to after landing in Frankfurt. It was also in my neighbourhood. I was there just after the lunch crowd so I could imagine it had died down quite a bit. At this point, I was still in search of a German Pancake dessert that could beat Plazz Cafe's but unfortunately, Plazz Cafe still reigns supreme with their Palaschinken. Cafe Diesseit's palaschink...
