Wie schon öfters, bin an meinem freien Tag zum Flade gegangen.Frische Salate, eine köstliche Tomatensuppe und ein vorzügliches Kalbswienerschnitzel wurden mir serviert. Meine Begleitung, eine Käsefreundin, bestellte eine Appenzeller Käseflade. Auch sie war begeistert.Chef Toni versteht sein Handwerk. Das Service( Chefin) war wie gewohnt toll. Humor und Gastlichkeit sprechen für dieses tolle Gasthaus in Appenzell.

Von unserem Besuch am letzten Dienstag können wir leider nur negatives berichten. Der Service war mangelhaft und unprofessionell. Wir sassen auf der Terrasse und hatten die Bedienung nur drei bis viermal zu Gesicht bekommen. Kulinarisch hatten wir die grosse Käseplatte zu Fr 14. bestellt. Erhalten haben wir vier kleine Käse Ecken mit einer halben Tomate und einer Essiggurke... Die Butter, welche wir nachbestellt hatten, wurde mit Fr. 0.70 verrechnet. Wir würden dieses Lokal bei unserem nächsten Appenzell Besuch nicht mehr berücksichtigen.
