"Very disappointing. I've been a regular Cafe Rouge customer for years. This was the first time I was in the Victoria branch, which I chose as the central meeting point for a group of friends. It was cold, loud and the service was not available; We waited for an hour for our food after the order and did not even receive an apology. We arranged an informal business meeting for a late lunch. The location was perfect and the staff attentive, but not over camp. Very impressed and good value.

Good food and great service which made for a lovely family event: the only criticism was that there was no real relief from a pretty warm day, and the two small babies in our party suffered accordingly better ventilation or aircon would have been helpful.

This was a good pick just after seeing Wicked at the Apollo just over the road. A tasty menu which is uncomplicated and has something for everyone. Good service and they made me a Kir Royale even though it was not on the menu! Be aware that there is a lot of building work around the bus and train station right now so best to walk through the station concourse to get to the restaurant.
