Amazing food that has a had a lot of thought put into it and lovely staff, would 100% go back

We came here as a group the other evening and it was lovely. The food was great and there were some very interesting and unique dishes on the menu. The service was also good and we loved the atmosphere of the restaurant with all of the quirky decorations!

Roya squeezed in catering for our rearranged civil partnership at late notice, despite being busy with restaurants only recently reopening after lockdown. The food was all delicious and flavorful, just like the food in the restaurant. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed it. Highly recommended. Ver carta

Mother’s Day Afternoon tea savouries very pleasant, sweets far too sweet! But unfortunately not worth £25 with tea/drink extra. Worked out at £2.50 per tiny mouthful of food. Felt like they’d taken advantage of being Mother’s Day to charge extra. Such a shame as have waited ages to go to Cafe Roya.

This is my favourite restaurant in Nottingham hands down. Every meal I have had has been an 11/10. You could pick anything off the menu and it will be amazing. They cater well for my Dad when we go, who has coeliac disease, unlike many other places. I love the fact the menu changes every month ... it makes me try and go every month to try the new dishes !

Fabulous food! Really thoughtful combinations of flavours and textures. Interesting dishes that you might not have encountered before. All vegetarian or vegan, so a great choice for those who don't eat meat or other animal products. We shared a range of dishes, and loved them all. Service was also excellent the right combination of attentive without pestering you every few minutes. Highly recommended. Book to avoid disappointment. Ver carta
