Cafe Schonborn - Menú

Wir haben bei tollem Sonnenschein im Außenbereich gesessen und gut gegessen. Eine sehr freundlich Bedienung rundete das Essen ab.

Went here again after last October. Forgot they don't take any credit cards. Not an expensive place, just take enough cash (50 euros or so for two).

Bem localizado próximo a Praça do Mercado.Pedimos um espaguete de salmão delicioso que até hoje a minha esposa não esquece e num preço muito bom: 9,80 euros cada.

Alles super - jedes Mal wieder gerne Nette Bedienung (vorwiegend Studenten, aber gut ausgebildet); sehr Gästeorientiert - auch Sonderwünschen beim Essen stets aufgeschlossen

Schön gemacht mit Palmen, gut besucht, Essen war ok, Personal sehr freundlich, aber etwas verpeilt/überfordert? (eine Bestellung kam erst auf Nachfrage, eine etwas verändert falsch, Rechnung nicht richtig), Toiletten könnten säuberer sein.

We stopped here for a small early dinner after exploring the town and it was quite enjoyable. There are both indoor and outdoor seating areas. The food was tasty with generous portions. It was one of only a few places open on Sunday for dinner.

Pedi um Spagetti a carbonara e minha noiva um Schnitzel. Ambos pratos muito bem servidos com preços de 8,90 e 11,30 euros, respectivamente. Em todo o cardápio essa mesma variação de preço era o tom. Exceto para carnes vermelhas que a exemplo de toda Alemanha, são pratos mais caros. Fomos muito bem atendidos. De sobremesa pedimos um ApfelStrudel que estava bom, mas não foi o melhor que comemos na viagem. Recomendo.

Nach der Arbeit noch schnell einen Cafe? Nein, ich entscheide mich für einen "Insalata Venezia" (gemischter Blattsalat mit Pilzen und Putenstreifen). Der Salat war schnell serviert und ok. Die Dame vom Service war stets äußerst freundlich, obwohl die Terrasse zum bersten voll war - sowas lob ich mir!Der Cappuccino schmeckte toll, das Ambiente mit dem Ausblick auf die Altstadt und Kirche war sehr eindrucksvoll und interessant.

The Schonborn is one of many indoor/outdoor restaurants found in every German town which all have several squares with cafes, bars, ice cream parlours and restaurants operating under awnings to shelter from the sweltering sun. That suited us just fine for a lunch stop: goulash soup (made properly and served with a good bread roll, and two long local sausages served with potato salad. Both were good and nourishing. The cheese in the cheese sandwich was the soft processed sort which is fine for kids' lunches, but not for adults. I was surprised about that.
