""happiest chef in the world" this is nick, Swedish chef cook who personally supervises one in his hidden local with his small but daily fresh card. Besides various infusions, there are also gluten-free vegetarian sandwich specialties from venezuela and other day-fresh specialties that change.Friends of analog music will be pleased that there are still record players and everywhere cover motifs as decoration, the music that there is to hear is a wide jazzy mix from all over the world. to the conclusion there is a little dessert from the chef personally - in my case a chocolate as a conclusion to the house. There are also various wine tastings and who plans an event can also register for a small group. As lunch option absolutely recommended and also worth a visit for a small budget. reservation is recommended."

As always, we were not disappointed by our soup! The best in Munich :) Great location too, near to the HBF.

We had the best meal here in Munich - his potatoes came from Bavaria which were beautifully cooked & really delicious; if we had wanted more we could have had it

This funky place is perfect for a lunch break. The owner and his wife are really nice and the food is amazing and cheap. Its a mix of swedish and venezuelan kitchen.

Rekommenderas!

today on my trip to Munich, coming in midday with the train, looking for a nice local to eat and found! who hunger has on delicious, self-made food, in absolutely rustic environment, is right here. changeable lunch table, today there was lens soup with or without sausage or salmon soup. delicious! there is no charge. nick cooks himself and speaks to favorite English. price incl. glass water not topping and clearly below 10€ I come back!

I can see the owner is trying to do 'cheap and cheerful' but it didn't really work for me. If you enjoy eating bland food from paper plates then this might be for you. They clearly use the cheapest ingredients and put little thought into their food. Maybe I am getting old or something but I also totally didn't get the laid back atmosphere others on here are talking about. It's quite a lazy concept with nothing special about it, so I won't be back.

I was stepping in just to grab a coffee to go. However the creative environment made me sitting and looking around. I saw a picture of an Swedish actor on the wall, which I just have seen in "The Seventh Seal". He said its "Max von Sydow" showing how to Skoal with style and grace. And that was the beginning of a long talk about movies, literature and what have you... Why am I telling this? Because it shows, that if you get into this Café expect much more than just a coffee :-)
