"Siamo venuti a cenare in questo ristorante con grandi aspettative dovute alle recensioni e anche alla cucina toscana.Purtroppo le aspettative sono andate parzialmente deluse.Partiamo dal servizio che è decisamente da sistemare.Eravamo in e antipasto è arrivato molto prima degli altri, pur avendo ordinato cose simili. Inoltre il vino e l’acqua sono stati portati solo su sollecito e dopo che gli antipasti erano già stati serviti da un po’. Un po’ troppo lunga l’attesa, ma ancora nel limite.Buona la qualità delle materie prime. Il pecorino era molto piacevole e i salumi decisamente buoni. Carne chiaramente di ottima qualità, così come la pasta fresca.Purtroppo però la cottura e la preparazione dei cibi non era all’altezza della materia prima. Tutto senza sale e con poco gusto (ad eccezione dei pici cacio e pepe).Il ragù di cinghiale troppo debole, la carne completamente insipida. È un peccato perché con la materia prima a disposizione si poteva fare molto meglio.Nota positiva sui dolci, semplici ma molto buoni.Il conto è coerente con la materia prima utilizzata, meno con la qualità del prodotto finale."

"Beautiful setting near the highest point in Montepulciano. There is outdoor and indoor seating. Our reservations were indoor as it had been raining on and off. There are covers over the outdoor seating so that is still an option. After so much eating out, I was looking for something light. They had tomato soup which was delicious. It was definitely more chunky than what you'd find in the states. I was expecting a cup but a rather large bowl was delivered. For dinner, we split the mixed pork meat plate and I added grilled veggies. The veggies were zucchini and eggplant. I am not a huge fan of either but they were cut thin and the preparation made them an excellent choice. Our table wasn't the hugest fan of the pork plate as the meat wasn't as lean as was preferred but they loved the sausage very much. Service was good considering there were only a few servers for all tables and the place was packed. Very good experience."

"If you want to have an incredibly fancy food experience this is it! OMG we were gifted this experience and told to order whatever we wanted.everything was a work of art. The ambiance was spectacular and we were seated next to this open window looking out to the street and it was just dreamy. The sommelier was very knowledgeable and guided us through the wine lust making our evening so special. I believe they have a M star. Treat yourself!"

"We stopped in 8pm on Monday after driving up from Pompeii. About half tables in use and we were easily seated. The facility is special and the look and feel are great. Vintage brick cellar with shelves loaded with varieties of wine. Beer selection is only one. Our waiter introduced the daily specials and we ordered a wine sample before buying full bottle of Nobile. Wines from €15 -75 a bottle. Meatballs, pork medallions with blue cheese and onions, steak, gnostami ? and ravioli with some salads and roast potatoes. It was all very good, though pork was dry despite onions and blue cheese relish. Service was attentive, and able to offer English explanations for a few questions."
