Camellia South Lodge

This is very well run hotel with good, reliable restaurants and nice staff.

It was very quiet on the Thursday lunch we visited but the food was lovely.

Beautiful view and perfect food and service. A lovely venue for a leisurely lunch.

The restaurant has a fantastic location and top-notch amenities. The food was outstanding.

A very delicious meal with great service. Was a real luxury to have such tasty food in such a lovely environment. It is not the cheapest of places but it is definitely worth it!

What a great time we had for our Anniversary, the food was first class as with the staff, we have been a couple of times and on all occasions the service food and wine was perfect, we will be back soon for some more great food, many thanks to the staff and the chef.

Absolutely outstanding, the food was impeccable, the service was amazing I literally couldn’t recommend this restaurant enough and the grounds are stunning, the only disadvantage were the drinks were pricey £15.00 for an aperol spritz but hey I didn’t let that ruin it

The food was excellent, but the service was terrible. The restaurant did not have enough menus for all of the guests, and the waiting staff seemed confused about who ordered what. The drinks we requested never arrived, and we were not even offered coffee after the meal. Considering the high price of £80+ per person, I expected a much better experience.

On a lovely autumn day, we arrived at South Lodge and were greeted with stunning views of the hotel grounds. We were welcomed and escorted to the Camellia restaurant, but first stopped by the nearby bar for a pre-lunch drink. The service was exceptional and very friendly. Despite it being a busy Sunday lunch, the service remained top-notch. I savored a delicious three-course Sunday roast beef lunch and finished off with coffee and shortbread biscuits on the terrace. Overall, it was a special dining experience.
