"Review of Classic coffee-shop, Ingoldmells – June 2022 As Trip-advisor now only allow one review per month per establishment here 's a summary Being an holiday maker 'm only here for the season but this is one of the best places to visit. I 've paid numerous visits for breakfast – the actual breakfast varies depending on how hungry I feel – all are quality ingredients , freshly cooked and nicely presented. Not as often , I call for lunch and for this review opted for the “three pork apple sausages and mash” – really nice and tasty and comes with a “special” gravy . I followed it up with the banana split one of the best in the country which also comes with a selection of different fruits strawberry , asst grapes , melon , orange and others . Always first class and one of my treats. The last mention must go to the specially ordered award winning recipe of “Jubilee lemon amaretto pudding” . see photo This was picked up on the Wednesday prior to the Jubilee – provided portions for family friends for the jubilee celebrations and enough left over to give to the caravan site staff . Not cheap but good value for 20+ portions for the special occasion."

"I visited this restaurant for the first time tonight with my partner, and I can't recommend it highly enough. The food was fantastic, and every staff member was attentive and exceptionally friendly! It was clear that other diners were also enjoying themselves, and the atmosphere was amazing. I will definitely return the next time I'm in Skeg! Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £10–20."

"As holiday makers nearby we ordered a takeaway and we were both so impressed by the food. My prawn starter was delicious and the prawns were huge! The pasta dish we each had was equally delicious, hot and tasty and generous portions. When we return to Skegness we will definitely choose you again Thank-you Service: Take out Meal type: Dinner"

"Visit this place on a regularly basis and always been great however the last few times there has been a few issues. First was breakfast when they had no goats cheese. This makes the meal and without it wasn’t great. The service was very very slow as well. Second was limited items on the lunchtime menu when half were breakfast items. Thirdly went to go in there just after 3 only to be told we couldn’t have food only drinks when it was food which we went in for. They close at 4 pm so surely it was enough time. Instead they told us no and carried on chatting amongst themselves. Please please please don’t let it slip anymore as it will be a shame as always been fabulous"

"We love going to Skeggy and always go to Mario’s on the last night. This has been happening for around 10 years so we were a bit shocked to hear it had changed hands, and name, but were hopeful that the food would still be as nice. Long story short, it isn’t. The chicken, was virtually inedible, clearly frozen rather than fresh, tough as old boots. my missus left all hers, but doesn’t like to complain, especially as some other people were complaining about something and we felt for the waitress who was very young, very friendly though which is always nice. I’ll keep my eye on the reviews and hopefully we’ll see an improvement so we can return. My missus says we’re not going back though, so we probably not lol. In all seriousness though, we’re pretty gutted to lose the best restaurant In Skegness."
