Awful food service. Won’t be going back . Mario please come back Aroma is not a patch on Marios. Such a shame as been going regularly for years .

Visited for Valentine Night Out, excellent food, lovely staff and nicely spaced out tables , nice not to be able to hear your neighbours conversation. Lovely staff presented me with a rose at the end of the evening, lovely gesture.

Practically the same menu and prices as another of our very well liked and frequented restaurants in town. Hadn’t been since previous owners left so was unsure what to expect, Mario’s was always one of our 5 favourites, whilst the food was ok and service was good there was something missing, unfortunately not outstanding as a special place to go anymore. Disappointing been going years new owners come back Mario !! Bland slimy food and cold best part of the meal the mint with the bill overpriced overcrowded terrible service like waiting for Christmas and they need to change the cooking oil smells terrible lost all its charm and intimacy now crammed front to back with tables quite clear the chefs and staff just cant cope never going back !

Our second visit to this restaurant. Came across it last year whilst at Butlins for Leeds Rhinos Challenge and absolutely loved it, so as soon as we arrived at Butlins this year, we booked it straight away. The food is amazing!! The staff are amazing and would recommend to anyone!! Always seems quiet when we go and we either hit it at a really good time or it’s generally quite and we have no idea why because it really is worth the visit!!

We were given a £30 gift voucher for Mario’s last Christmas and then in February the business changed hands and became Aroma. On the Facebook page it quite clearly said all gift vouchers including from Christmas would be honoured (we’ve received these vouchers in the past and have always had a 12 month use by date). Anyway we decided we would like to go for our anniversary in September, so phoned to make a reservation, mentioning the voucher, to be told they no longer honour the gift vouchers. This place is a little gem! Found on Google Maps as on holiday in the area, greeted by lovely staff and a hello from the chef. You can see into the kitchen and see them cooking which I like, very clean and tidy. I had the salmon and prawn pasta it was honestly amazing! My sons had the spaghetti and meatballs and a margarita pizza and they said it was amazing (they are very fussy eaters), my husband had a meat feast pizza and said it was really good too. Lovely atmosphere, also had 2 deserts and rounds of drinks and only came to about £58, great pricing! I’m upset we live so far away as would be there every week!

Tried all Italians but this one we hadn’t tried . Service was ok however the food wasn’t great we ordered 2 platters as starters for the money it was poor not a lot on it then the pizzas arrived for my grandkids it was like looking at supermarket ones I had chicken with king prawns sauce and pasta well the king prawns were tiny only had 4 the pasta was not cooked properly was rubbery and arrived luke warm my husband chicken and my daughter s meal warm was the worst meal and I like to spend but expensive for what we got I could have said something but it wasn’t worth 180.00 for 3 adults and 3 kids food and drinks coke house wine I larger we have tasted a lot better

We love going to Skeggy and always go to Mario’s on the last night. This has been happening for around 10 years so we were a bit shocked to hear it had changed hands, and name, but were hopeful that the food would still be as nice. Long story short, it isn’t. The chicken, was virtually inedible, clearly frozen rather than fresh, tough as old boots. my missus left all hers, but doesn’t like to complain, especially as some other people were complaining about something and we felt for the waitress who was very young, very friendly though which is always nice.
