Delicious food! The cost per person is around £20–30. Service was excellent, rated at 5, and the atmosphere was quite nice, rated at 4.

The dining experience was incredible! I enjoyed everything I ordered from the menu, which was not only beautifully presented but also offered a fantastic variety of choices.

Popped in here twice in the last week. Once just for a drink, once to eat. On both occasions the staff were really friendly and helpful. The real ale was excellent and the food was freshly prepared and very tasty. The whitebait was particularly good. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We hadn’t planned to eat there, but after an unexpected issue with my car, we decided to give it a try. It was quite busy, but we were welcomed warmly and the food was absolutely delicious! The staff were very kind and attentive. I would definitely recommend it. My sausage and mash was a smaller portion, perfect for a light appetite, and offered great value for money. If you're looking for passable food, daft laughs, and an affable bar maid then look no further than the cannon. As an avid Gooner, I first visited due to the name (and also as it's down the road from my mates mam and dad's), and I have to say I was welcomed with open arms (not literally). The guest ales are superb, and the bi-weekly quizzes are nothing short of groin wreckers every time. Honestly, if you're in the area I urge you to stop by. Although do check opening times first as they caaaan tend to be closed more than I would like, hey, can't have everything. Keep it up! Ta
