I went to dinner with my wife. we ate fish very good in a cozy atmosphere with a great value for money.

Excellent local fish dishes, I recommend asking for the availability of fresh and local products to have maximum taste and quality. I had gratin calamari and local mixed grill, Falerio wine, all top! This was our first visit to Porto San Giorgio therefore our first visit to Canto Do Mar. The restaurant is a fish restaurant right on the beach at Porto San Giorgio. The service and food was excellent at a very reasonable price. I think it was the owner who served our table, very helpful in explaining the dishes. We would certainly return to Canto Do Mar. No English spoken as far as we could see but our friends spoke Italian which helped a lot.

we arrived with a booking of 21 having previously checked there was capability to deal with vegetarians.it transpired very quickly that the set menu would not accommodate vegetarians or those with fish allergies. bread and wine were served without us confirming we would order and then we were charged 105 euros. paying this and asking to leave, a number of our party were requested to pay 49 euro’s more. the atmosphere was aggressive and unfriendly i do not recommend.
