"My wife and I stayed in Sandown for a few nights away and honestly suprised at how many venues/restaurants have closed. I am aware that we are out of season but we were struggling to find somewhere to have dinner. We came across Cardamom Indian restaurant and thought we would give it a go. I ordered the Himalayan lamb shank with chickpeas and rice and my wife a chicken tikka masala plus some sides. Quite simply delicious, fresh and clearly passionate food. Our waiter Anis made us feel welcome and was very attentive. If you're in Sandown and like Indian cuisine look no further....highly recommend."

I’ve eaten in this restaurant twice now in two weeks. The restaurant and toilets are very clean and the atmosphere is airy and relaxed. The food is amazing, the Nepalese dishes offer great variation too. The food is piping hot, generous and above all delicious. The best I’ve had in the Island bar none. What makes the meal even better is Balash and Anis. They are brilliant. Always smiling and very polite. Their service is exemplary. They are great to talk with and joke with and really do add to the dining experience. See you soon
