very good Indian food. Maybe the best I ever had. very tasty and beautiful meat. I am confused by a little less than 5 stars on the basis of our experience. BYO blood, but this is good with us

We ate here tonight 25/01 was a lovely meal throughly enjoyed by all. Lovely decor, amazing food fab presentation, great service and our waiter was so great will definitely be returning. Well worth a visit

Food was excellent, service was good but rather pricey as each item was priced individually. Rice did not come with the curry. Alcohol is not served and to cap it all a 10% charge is on the bill which he says is a gratuity for... Ver carta

Found on trip advisor. Excellent food. So good we went back for a second time during our 5 day stay. The Tamil Raj is excellent a house special if recommend. Friendly staff and excellent food. I lived in Leicester for 25 years I know a good curry and this is where to find one.

I ordered a take away, got offered a seat and a drink while i waited. Service was fab, food was really got. I also got free, a curry, 5 cans of coke, popadom, white rice, onion bhaji and a nan bread. My order was 5 king prawn biryani, 2 chicken biryani, 1 daal (lentil) and a plain rice. Costing around £85. Overall i am very happy with the service and food and got more than i bargained for.

Lovely restaurant and the staff talk to you about your food so you can ask for a 'vegan, vegetable Jalfrezi, no butter, nice and hot but not Vindaloo ' and nothing is too much trouble as they will make it specially for you. Absolutely delicious and probably better than anything we have had in BHam, Leeds, Cardiff or London and that is saying something. These guys really know how to cook! We have been going here for years, but havnt been for a while, this time we were very disappointed, we arrived to find, no alcoholic drinks available, so we ordered 0% wine for the ladies and cobra 0% for the men to be told, no 0% wine, so they had sparkling water, and we brought 0% San Miguel. The food was OK, nothing like it was, after the meal the ladies were given a complimentary coffee, but nothing for the men, very wierd. Just us and one other table of 2, Won't be going again.

Have to agree with Any C, definitely over attentive and would not leave us to peruse the menu in peace. We used this restaurant regularly when we lived in Bognor and when visiting since we emigrated the food was excellent as always and decent sized portions but we were very surprised and disappointed to find that there were only alcohol free drink options, sorry but curry needs a pint of Cobra and the 0% stuff just wasn’t the same. We had been very much looking forward to our curry but all in all a disappointing experience.

Faulty Towers at its' best bless them. The food was lovely and having been there many times years before I had no preceeding worries. However, when we arrived the waiters in an effort to be attentive I assume stood next to us and would not leave us be. The staff take it in turns to stand exceptionally close to us at the table waiting for our order. We had only just arrived. Once we had poppadoms they kept on trying to take them away in order to put down the main meal. We were happy to keep the Papadoms alongside the main meal. The manager then came over and said they normally take the plates away to the Papadoms to them being the main meal but his staff told him we wanted to keep them as had... Ver carta
