Stpped in for a lovely lunch on the terrace, in the sun mostly, beautiful freshly prepared foor, and very reasonably priced omelettes and full English breakfast.

Two nights out here this weekend. Great to have a lovely place to go locally when you dont speak French. Food gorgeous and a welcoming place & host. If your in the area its a must visit

We stayed for 2 nights in this pretty village and had a lovely dinner with a few drinks one evening and a good hearty breakfast the next day. Sam was very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Ver carta

Six of us travelled for an hour to try this restaurant hoping for some decent Italian cooking as promised by other reviews. We were not disappointed, the food, the host and cosy 'local village' atmosphere make this a rare treat in the Creuse where it is often difficult not to find yourself ushered towards the door come 9pm.

My parents have been coming here for a few years and brought us for a meal last year.The food is based around Italian dishes, with a range of pizzas.as well.Our first visit this year and the service and quality of the food was as good as last.Run by Steve an ex pat and his wife, who does the cooking.Would recommend this restaurant to all who may visit the area.

While staying just outside Fursac, we visited this restaurant three times.The food is excellent as is the service and good value for money. It is also very clean.If its not on the menu ask! they are very obliging.Steve and his wife (who is Italian) have run this for a few years now and have redecorated the place since taking it on .If your in the area try it you will not be disappointed. Came across this restaurant 4 days ago and now on our 2nd visit. Wonderfully tasty Sardinian/Italian menu, the food freshly cooked every time....perfect. Exceptional coffee made by Steve. Warm and cosy with friendly staff, always have a welcoming smile and time for a chat. Will be back again very soon. Thanks to Steve and Elena the perfect hosts and a special mention for Mimi who does a wonderful job.

My wife and I ate here with friends one evening. The restaurant has a relaxed bar area where we enjoyed some drinks before being shown to our table by the friendly English owner, Steve. Starters came promptly and my wife enjoyed the large hot prawns and I really liked the calamari which was cooked from fresh, not frozen. My wife had lasagne for her main course and I had the steak, both were excellent. Our friends also enjoyed their meals consisting of ribs, prawn cocktail, pizza, lasagne and cannelloni. The local artisan beer was excellent and the Chianti wine went down a treat. Everything was reasonably priced. Try this restaurant when in the area!

We had a meal last night (July 2014) at Carraciola Sardo, and enjoyed it very much.As vegetarians we find it hard to find meals we enjoy at good value, and this restaurant fits the bill. Pastis, followed by a shared garlic bread, then between us a Rustica pizza and a vegetable cannelloni and a 2008 Chianti. Profiteroles and tarte au citron followed, then coffee. We enjoyed it enormously. We ate indoors on a warm night and it was very pleasant. And very reasonable. Service courtesy of Steve and others was friendly and attentive. A mix of French locals and English. We like to manage in French (if we wanted to always speak English we'd stay in the UK) and Steve managed very well indeed. We'll c... Ver carta
