"my man and I had an excellent meal at the restaurant carron. we shared a fish plate for a starter, then everyone had a main course. we enjoyed beautifully boiled rock-tourbot and huh. we had a karaffe wein and coffee. the service was friendly and efficient. we were most impressed by the standard of food and service made for a pleasant meal. it was so good! we will return at our next visit in the opposite."

we ate here an evening during the holiday in the opposite. we were warmly welcomed at the arrival. eating was delicious, it came hot and fast. portions were exactly right. to finish we have the highland mess .... delicious!

As we are known in the area we were treated as family so what we have to say is biased. At the time I had a broken tooth and mouth ulcers so could only have the soup but it was very tasty. The youngest member of the family thought the chicken goujons were bootiful .

Second time there I believe it is enough to show how a fantastic restaurant it is with an incredible owner. Atmosphere, environment, service and of course food were great!!!!! As for the owner John, we’ll what can I say… he is an amazing person. I will be back for sure!!!

This place was outstanding. We stopped on our way from Inverness to the isle of skye and it was the perfect stopping point. A little off the way but totally worth it. The food was amazing and fresh and the place was very warm and welcoming. Service was great too. Had squat lobsters for the first time ever and totally loved them. A lovely family run little restaurant with outstanding food!
