The combination of crispy nachos and the fresh, creamy guacamole was a delightful treat, and the assortment of salsas provided an unexpected burst of flavors. For our main course, we had the opportunity to sample a wide variety of tacos. I opted for the selection with beef, poultry, shrimp, and fish, while my partner preferred the chicken and beef tacos. Each taco was a masterpiece on its own – the fillings were perfectly balanced, and the tortillas were fresh and authentic. However, what truly made the experience memorable was not just the outstanding food, but also the impeccable service. The staff was incredibly attentive, friendly, and accommodating. We were at a table outside the restaurant, the atmosphere in the restaurant is definitely much nicer! There are parasols for comfort in hot weather

It was my first time here and I was extremely satisfied with the overall package. The shrimp burrito is an absolute must have! Price/performance ratio is pretty good, but for a burrito 26. it costs a lot. Otherwise good and decent service, pleasant seats and relaxed atmosphere, even if it was busy. I celebrated my birthday at Cartell and was thrilled. The service was great and the food was prepared quickly. The chips and all the starters were excellent. The quesadillas and tacos were very juicy and the meat had good flavor. I am always happy to recommend the restaurant and look forward to my next visit. Best Mexican in Basel.

One of the best fish tacos I have tried in my life. Yesterday, my partner and I went to this amazing Mexican restaurant and I was amazing. We had their speciality chorizo tacos, fish tacos and cheese quesadilla. Also, the chocolate pudding. Everything was super delicious! Service was really nice, thanks Jenny and all the team in cartell restaurant, after 6 hours driving was all we needed! If you are in Basel and you love Mexican food, I really recommend this place.
