Casa Mamma - Carta

Ordered two types of pizza. None of them were especially good. Almost no taste at all. Normally pizza is okay wherever you buy it, but not here.

Very friendly but more important authentic Italian cuisine it was busy which is always a good sign good house wine nice pasta and home made tiramisu

Didn’t book, but there when they opened, typical family restaurant in Italy, but in Kings Cross. Simple Italian food cooked well. Fairly priced, we will return. Ver carta

I absolutely love this Italian restaurant located in the center of Kings Cross. The food is delicious, the service is impeccable, and the prices are very reasonable. I have been a loyal customer for years and have also recommended it to many of my friends.

Amazing food and service! First impressions a little rustic and dated, however, the food was excellent and piping hot. Staff extremely accommodating. Knocks the socks of posh swanky restaurants. Fabulous value for money, 2 starters, mains,2 wines and a beer all for under £60! Will definitely visit again....5

I happened to walk by this restaurant and decided to give it a try. I ordered the calzone and my girlfriend had the carbonara, both of which were delicious. The service was good, the prices were reasonable, and the location is very convenient. Overall, this restaurant seems to be overlooked for its quality. I highly recommend it. Ver carta

Another beautiful meal here! My daughter opted for the deep fried mozzarella in a tomato, chilli and garlic sauce followed by her favourite spaghetti bolognaise, which she says is better than mine I had the calamari followed by the veal escalope in a mushroom and wine sauce washed down with a bottle of chianti. Service was prompt the staff friendly and we just love this place!

While staying near Kings Cross and craving Italian food, we decided to give this restaurant a try. Unfortunately, our experience was not pleasant. The coke we ordered was flat and the limoncello was not enjoyable. The garlic, tomato, and oregano pizza bread we ordered as a starter was the worst we have ever had at an Italian restaurant. My calzone main dish was decent in taste but lacked filling and had a thick and unappetizing pizza base. My girlfriend's salad with grilled vegetables also fell short, as the ingredients did not seem fresh. Despite the friendly staff, we were disappointed overall with the food and drinks. Have always tried to go to this family run Italian restaurant when I visit London unfortunately, a pandemic got in the way. Delighted to return this evening to find the food as good as ever. If you are looking for an independent, family run place in King 's Cross (whether staying over in the area or waiting for that delayed train) try this place out. Excellent food, excellent service. There are plenty of 'chain ' restaurants around King 's Cross, but there are several good independents Casa Mamma being a very good example.
