"This occasion was to celebrate two birthdays for High Tea. Sadly the occasion was not acknowledged by staff although we wrote to tell them twice. The food was quite delicious when it came then when we were finished the staff asked us if we would like our scones with cream and jam? Better late than never but not well orchestrated. Despite the lack of attentive staff we did enjoy ourselves very much and appreciated the food prepared. The two cake stands had slightly different top layers which was a bit confusing and caused negotiations which we shouldn’t have had to do. 5*s would’ve been awarded without those small annoyances. Apart from that we recommend going there for afternoon tea of any description"

We had the pleasure of the fantastic tasting menu with wines last weekend, our first 'Posh food ' this side of lockdown and it didn 't disappoint! It was great to see them taking every precaution with regards to covid.

Stunningly beautiful restaurant. Our first morning in England found us in this magical space all glass overlooking the castle moat. Menu was modern, fresh and creative! Our choices were delicious! Not to missed when visiting Hereford!

We hadn’t been for a while and had been closed for a while with Covid but booked for 2 people for a Sunday lunch really not disappointed and shouldn’t leave it so long for next time need to go again for Christmas beautiful setting and attentive service

Beautiful venue, clean and elegant The staff were very friendly and went above and beyond on our wedding day to make it feel special although we were a small group of people and it was booked last minute Staff were attentive throughout, food was wonderful Highly recommend !

14 of us had dinner here the other evening and we could not fault anything. The food was just delicious and the service great. The newly built restaurant was perfect, the decor was lovely and it had its own bar and was very spacious. Would definitely come back and would highly recommend a visit to anyone considering it

This was the first time my mother (86) had seen her granddaughter since January so this was a very special occasion- also celebrating family birthdays. Special it was indeed! Wonderful service, entirely Covid safe without losing the personal touch. Delicious food, excellently balanced menu- all was beautifully presented and superbly seasoned, this seems like a small point but often overlooked in the best establishments! Fantastic to have such a restaurant in Hereford- worthy of a Michelin star. We will be back!

if in hereford it seems only polite to choose herefordshire bark as main. the filet of the bark, which was cooked sous-vide and then browned, was served with kartoffel and cheek-terrine, wide beans and baby wobbles. the delicate bark was seasoned well so that the taste was great. the terrine was magnificently bound with alternating layers of kartoffels and soft braided wange together with cloth. the buzzing, swirling and carrot palms worked well in their supporting roles. this was a very satisfying main with the terrine a real one.
