"The worst restaurant in Windsor. I came here on my birthday last year and had the worst experience in a restaurant in my life. We had to wait for ages for our table, even though we had pre-booked one. Then we had to wait over twenty minutes for them to come over and ask us for our drinks orders. We were ready to order at that time so ordered our starters and mains. Our drinks came with our starters, nearly half hour after we had ordered. The drinks were watered down and the starters were not terrible, but not incredible either. We then waited for another half hour for our mains to arrive, but grew tired and hungry waiting, so in the end I had to chase up our waitress to demand where our food was because we were being ignored after waiting for ages. She told us it was going to be another twenty-thirty minutes. All she had to do was come over and explain to us in the first place that it was extra busy tonight so the food was going to take longer, but she had zero customer service skills. I asked to speak to the manager and was given the head waitress instead. We told her we were going because we could not wait any longer and we had already been seated for an hour and a half and not even received our main meals yet. She took the starters off our receipt and only charged us for the drinks. This could have been avoided if someone had the decency to explain to us what was going on. We could have then decided whether we wanted to stay and order a few more drinks while we waited for our meal, or chosen to go somewhere else. By the time this ordeal was over, it was after 10pm and too late to get into any other restaurant. In the end, we decided to go home and order Dominos. My 29th birthday was spent in a foul mood, in the worst restaurant ever without even eating there. Thanks for ruining my birthday, Charley's Horse. And thanks for retrieving it, Dominos."

We had a reservation for 8pm, but the first seating didn't begin until 8:45pm, so we didn't sit down until nearly 9pm.

Great place for a meet up to have a bite to eat good value for money food was hot drinks were fab staff on bar were amazing had a good chat with them in the pic with all the drinks in that went in one drink.

This is a fantastic spot to meet up and grab a bite to eat. The prices are very reasonable for the quality you get. Last Friday, we celebrated my daughter's birthday at Charley’s Horse with a party of 16 people. Her friends gave the most positive feedback! The service was fantastic, the food was excellent, and the staff were incredibly friendly, going the extra mile to ensure everyone was happy. The DJ was electrifying, and everyone had a wonderful time and left feeling really happy. I highly recommend this place!

charley's horse is a quaint little spot that serves up delicious food with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The staff is friendly and attentive, making sure your dining experience is top notch. I had the pulled pork sandwich and it was absolutely fantastic! The meat was tender and flavorful, and the BBQ sauce was the perfect balance of sweet and tangy. I also tried the homemade potato salad and it was the perfect side dish. Overall, I had a great meal at charley's horse and I will definitely be back again!

Our company event at Charley’s was a fantastic experience. We reserved the venue for our team-building evening, and the food was excellent—probably the best Mexican cuisine I’ve had in a long time. We also enjoyed some amazing cocktails, and the bartender was incredibly friendly, accommodating all of our group’s requests. To our surprise, there was a DJ on a Thursday night, so we decided to extend our celebration, and I'm glad we did! Everyone had a wonderful time. As the organizer, I highly recommend Charley’s in Windsor Square. I’ve already booked it for my team’s Christmas party! Ver carta

La Perla no es. Este lugar sirve la peor margarita que he tenido la desgracia de probar. Tal vez en los años 80, cuando era más difícil conseguir limones, usar limones en las margaritas podría haber parecido aceptable, pero en 2017 es como servir pasta con parmesano en polvo. Como si eso no fuera suficientemente malo, el personal del bar nos hizo una jarra de esta supuesta margarita con una dosis homeopática de tequila. Finalmente, logramos persuadirlos para que añadieran más, pero apenas hizo más bebible la jarra agria de limón amargo. Ni siquiera salaron los vasos. Such a shame this place has changed so much from what it used to be. Sadly even though we were told we could be squeezed in' when booking ahead, we were the only ones there. The portions were a lot smaller than previous visits, quite a few of the items on the menu scribbled out and a few of the Mexican beers unavailable'. Then at 9pm the club music started, despite only being half way through our main course and left without attendance. I had to get up to go and ask for our bill after waiting and then the card machine wouldn't work because of the railway line'. The restaurant has been in the same place for decades. So disappointed.
