"The food here is of excellent quality. Sadly it comes with bad service that ruins the experience. We were brought a dish we had most certainly not ordered (a person that dislikes seafood does not order a dish with lots of seafood in it). This may have been a mistake due to the language barrier as the staff did not speak Enlish fluently. But then you should not look at your customers as if it is their fault. They only brought the correct dish after being prompted 3 times that we asked for another dish. Then when we got the bill we found out that it is impossible to check on correctness. The bill just listed the text 1 item repeatedly, with different prices behind it. But based on the number of items I had the distinct notion we were billed 1 item too much: I.e. the seafood dish we had not ordered but was their mistake. Lastly after having paid with bankcard as a customer you always get a copy slip of the payment. Not here. Immediately noticing that I wasn 't offered that copy, I promptly asked for it, but I still wasn 't given one. All in all that experience ruined the pleasure of the good food."

We had the 6.90Euro fixed Menu di Terra which gave Spring Rolls, Cantonese Rice, Chicken Mushrooms along with 0.5cl Water. Great value, good quality and pleasant enough surroundings. A good choice for a cheap lunch!

Good authentic Chinese food at very reasonable prices. We, 3 of us, ate 2 bowls crab meat soup, 2 plates of tofu with vegetables and rice, and shredded chicken fried rice and this came up to 21.80€. Dinner in an Italian cafe would cost more! The food is also delicious!

Could not get workers who care less about their job if they tried however the food here is cheap and surprisingly delicious . The menu is the cheapest I have seen probably in the world for the quality. Prawn fried rice €2.80, chicken noodle, chicken with mushroom and bean shoots (perfect), pepper beef (weakest dish) all for €15. Don’t walk past this place. Great alternative for an Italian night off.

We spent two days in La Spezia. Most of the restaraunts did not open until closer to 8pm and many did not have english translations of their menu. As my wife is gluten intolerant we need to know what the food contains. Generally Chinese food is a safe bet. We had passed the restraurant earlier in the day, liked the menu and prices so called back for dinner. The food was great although the service a little bit slow although I suspect that the young girl was new, inexperienced and certainly did not understand English or our version of Italian. The sweet and sour pork was worth the wait.

"My husband and I took the train from Rapallo to La Spezia because we had read about andree. We are so glad that we did. We chose the three course lunch and liked that there were so many options for each course. Once we experienced the food and the perfect wine pairings, we can say that the quality/price ratio was outstanding. My husband saw beef and oysters on the menu, but since we don’t eat meat, Chef Andrea kindly prepared an extra off menu appetizer for him of three raw oysters. Our ordered appetizers were sweet succulent mussels in a velvety cauliflower cream sauce and a delicious artichoke heart with almonds and Castelmagno cheese. For our pasta course we chose the calamarta pasta with black eyed peas and rosemary and the tagliolini with clams both were delicious. For our secondi piatti my husband ordered the red mullet with broccoli, anchovies, pistachios, and a light orange sauce, while I chose today’s catch, which was amberjack wrapped in chard. We switched plates midway, and we were hard pressed to say which was better, because both were fantastic. Each of the courses was paired beautifully with lovely wines from small production vineyards. Unfortunately, we lingered too long over each course and realized after we had ordered dessert that we only had 30 minutes to catch our train back to Rapallo. They insisted that we eat dessert while they called us a cab, and while we wolfed it down (instead of savoring it the way we would have liked to), we only saw after we got back that they never charged us for dessert. Chef Andrea is an extremely talented chef and a warm and generous man who genuinely wants his diners to enjoy his food. What a pleasure it was to briefly make his acquaintance and to have the opportunity to experience this exquisite lunch."
