"We went there a little before Christmas. first it was very cold, inside, badly heated. We've got a lot of fun. Classic chicken couscous. Very good semoule. the rest of the vegetables and meats were pretty good but no more. Other couscous have been more interested in us. gourmet tea with two tiny patisseries not really raised. The boss is nice and attentive. Not quite a sorry one. and then it's a little expensive compared to other restaurants of the same type."

the online reservation has not worked. we waited 50min until we were allowed to order drinks. After 90min, we have lunch. the kartoffels were not through. price performance has not been matched.

Good authentic Moroccan food! They serve the dishes in Moroccan pottery, the decorations design of the restaurant also in a nice Moroccan style. Even tho nice, something is missing in my opinion maybe some more spice in the food and carpets in the floor?

So glad we found Chez Ali it was late, we were hungry and we were so lucky to find them. He was super accommodating and so friendly and genuinely warm. But the place itself is great too. The atmosphere is unique and great, and the food and wine were fantastic. We will definitely go back the next time we're in Epernay, but highly recommend the visit.

Fab place with really good food. Very busy when we were there but the front of house team worked their socks off I assumed they were the owners). The atmosphere was excellent. It can be hard to get their notice if you need something but this did not detract from our meal. We weren't in a rush and enjoyed the leisurely pace. Book ahead as seems very popular. Don't be put off by its backstreet location
