a pleasant terrace Charonne street, a top address for an aperitif with cocktail (happy hour 18h-20h) and tapas that change. Nice service.

The place is so noisy that you can hardly hear the singer's very soft voice and acoustic guitar. Talking to your friends through the din is quite a strain. The food is acceptable, though, and the prices are decent.

I stumbled on this restaurant by chance and, even though it was past 14h they were still offering the 15€ set menu (3 courses). The food was excellent, with plenty of taste, and the service was efficient and friendly. I would definiteley return if back in the area.

We wandered in on a cool evening in May and found this little gem. The musicians singing Portuguese lounge music and the delicious rhum punch set the tone for the evening. The seafood was cooked to perfection and bursting with flavour. I've never been to Cabo Verde but now it's definitely on my bucket list.

The only reproach that can be done is to leave heavy....lol, it's so good and surprising, we want to eat everything .plats African, creoles, Portuguese, Cape Verdeans, the card gives the tournis ... I took Haddock to the prunes, a delight......Just a little background noise because the restaurant is very full, but it's normal.

the card is alluring with its Creole and Brazilian specialties. Creole taboule (to citrus) was good but the vegetarian plate had nothing exceptional. an industrial macedoin, just like fries served with rice, plus a few cooked vegetables. the reception is warm and the service is fast. a bit loud on the terrace because of the traffic.

We stopped by this restaurant to have some lunch after it was recommended by the staff at our hotel. They did 'nt have an english menu, or typically lunch plates.. So we ended up ordering all of their starters! 4 different kinds. The shrimps, the meat and the balls (have no idea what it was) was good! And the squash and pork sausage not so good.. It was located in a nice and cool neighbourhood, so enjoyed sitting outside!

I went to Chez Celeste twice. Both nights, on Monday evening, there is live music from a young Brazilian woman accompanied by a young percussionist.The café is bustling! The tables out front are always packed and inside it is very tight yet cozy. I have no idea what I ate (cannot for the life of me remember the names of the dish) but it was very good.Make sure to order the Frits!!!! Tiny deep fried fish that are amazingly delicious. You will not get enough. Only 5 euros per bowl. Scrumptious!I will return.
