A nice terrace with local cuisine, friendly service and relaxed atmosphere, reasonable prices. Just a few meters away from a main shopping street.

The guy serving us was unfriendly. The food arrived quickly but was average in taste and quality. My husband's steak was quite gristly and my goat's cheese salad was ok, but nothing special.

A small restaurant that is a family business. Wines are nice prized, the foie gras (with a saland) is excellent, meats are OK and the service is frendly. A typical French nice and small restaurant.

A lovely setting off the Main Street in a square. The food was really good and well priced. We enjoyed the set menu with lots of choice and a good price. The staff were very helpful and spoke some English.

Service incompétent je demande une côte de boeuf on m'emmène une entrecôte, la serveuse inverse les desserts après nous avoir fait patienter 20 bonnes minutes pour les commander, pour globalement un repas décevant et pas les seuls dans la salle à être déçu.A éviter

Troisième visite chez l'Ours, toujours aussi satisfaits. Cette fois nous avons opté pour une cote de 1kg pour deux à 38€. Excellente viande, fondante et cuite parfaitement à point, accompagnée de frites maison succulentes et d'un Rioja, un peu cher mais parfait.Patrons accueillants, personnel attentif, sympa et ne manquant pas d'humour, service rapide, rien à redire :)

Petite place sympathique à l'écart du centre ville.Pas trop ombragée pas mais au pays basque on c'est pourquoi tout est vert...Accueil sympathique avec le sourire.Service rapide.Nous avons partagés une planche de jambon suivit d'une côté de bœuf.Un régal.Pour toutes les critiques sur les ours mal léchés est bien Allez y moi je les trouves plutôt sympathiques,souriants et accueillant.

Un service désorganisé, une viande aussi nerveuse que celui ci. Les fêtes de Bayonne peuvent elles tout excuser ?.Pas de moutarde avec ma viande car le pot avait disparu :-). En revanche une belle découverte avec l'anguille et on vous sert des frites fraiches. Mais Clairement manger votre plat et faites vous discret. Les 2 cuistos fument leur clope tranquille même si c'est un joyeux bazar au service.

I let a previous positive comment that was completely fair given the quality of the food I have had during my previous visits. However, this one gave me a taste of mediocer. We came there for lunch and enjoyed the 20€ menu- which is a bit above the prices in the area but I again, I was really happy of my previous visits and wanted to renew the experience. First of all, unlike all the other places I know, you can't separate the starter or the desert: you have to take everything or nothing which means if you don't like one specific choice you will have to go a la carte.
