We haven't visited here for a few years and it is now a huge improvement. We both had fish and chips. It's very uncommon to have outstanding chips as well as superb fish, but this pub does. The quantity is just right and the price is reasonable. We had a very friendly welcome and the whole experience was great. Highly recommended.

Really warm welcome from the staff on arrival. Good selection of food on the menu a specials board. Not a massive choice but all the better for that. All our dishes were excellent. We had the pub to ourselves but there was not enough space and no where near enough food or enough variety. They charged for ice and I didn't see any service except at the bar Parking: There was free parking but not enough for a large group. We were there for a family funeral wake and there were a lot of people who had to park on the road.
