"My husband and I had the most amazing meal at Burnt truffle. We started with the fish soup and then shared the aged sirloin which came with peppercorn sauce, the best Parmesan chips I have ever tasted and delicious carrots. We ordered a side of broccoli too which was cooked to perfection. We finished with a chessboard and the honeycomb ice cream. Every element of the meal was cooked perfectly and was so tasty. I am not a great meat eater but the sirloin was delicious. I have not tasted food as good. The staff were attentive, pleasant and helpful. There was a new manager who ensured our evening went to plan, he checked in on us and was really a pleasure to speak to. I could not recommend this place highly enough. We will be back! Thank you Burnt Truffle. It was a great all round experience."

"My friend and I visited Silk Road tonight. We were greeted by Etty and shown our seats. The restaurant is decorated beautifully. We were given menus and were spoilt for choice. We choose 7 dishes and each one was full of flavour and piping hot. The Mediterranean Sea bass and nasi goreng were my favourite. Tom also came and spoke to us. The staff were very professional, friendly and welcoming. The drinks were well priced and the deals were excellent. A thoroughly enjoyable night with delicious food in a restaurant that had a lovely ambience. Would definitely recommend and will return."

"this is a place we had to visit on our list. at this opportunity there was the live music that celebrated the jubilee of the Queen, so it might not be the best time to visit. that was said, there was a great marquee that housed the music. at this point the renter had hired a first Notch sound engineer to take care of the sound. there was eating and the staff was friendly and helpful. the renter himself was very pleasantly aware of keeping his pub efficient. we will visit again for a better and perhaps more relaxed one. there is a large parking space that embraces a few disabled bays. overall my first impression was excellent and I look forward to another visit."

Having never dined here before, I was impressed by the presentation and quality of the food. The staff were friendly and attentive, contributing to an overall delightful culinary experience. "There's plenty of parking available, and it's conveniently located not too far from West Kirby beach, making it a nice spot for a stroll afterward. The highlight of our visit was definitely the staff, especially one young woman with striking green and black hair who was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Despite the busy atmosphere, she handled everything with ease and made our experience even better. I just wish I had caught her name because she truly was fantastic! Vegetarian options: There are plenty of choices for vegetarians. Parking: Ample parking available close to the entrance. Kid-friendliness: Many families were there, and it appeared there were lots of options for children to eat and enjoy."
