Staff are friendly and efficient, food was great, tasty and plentiful and great value for money, restaurant is pleasant and well located

So disappointed! Starter arrived but after nearly an hour only chips and one lamb dish! We asked for the bill and left….. will probably not return.

Fantastic food,great midweek offer 3 plates for £16. Very good service. If you want a good value early evening dinner this place will be extremely difficult to beat Ver carta

Visited with friends on a Monday evening. Fab offers during the week and the food was lovely. Would definitely recommend, looking forward to returning to try some more dishes.

Lovely welcome by our waitress Etty, explained straight away that as it was my friends birthday she was given a complimentary glass of Prosecco, also wine Wednesday, 50% off wines, bonus! We picked 3 meals each, all were gorgeous and plenty of them! Had a lovely evening! Will be back! Ver carta

Early evening meal. We ordered mostly Asian dishes. My wife thought hers we fairly good (chicken and squid); I thought mine were very ordinary and bland (ribs, noodles and chicken). There was no freshness or decent spice. We also had chips which were fine. Service was very quick and friendly. I feel the food was just not good enough to bother going out.

6 of us visited Friday evening, food was absolutely fabulous however the service was non existent, may well of been self service. 18 dishes ordered between the 6 of us, 5 dishes arrived and 20 minutes later we had to ask where the rest was. In the meantime we had to ask for drinks from the bar and had to ask for old glasses to be taken from the table. Not once were we asked how our food evening was, the front of house manager! Was clearly struggling to manage.

My friend and I visited Silk Road tonight. We were greeted by Etty and shown our seats. The restaurant is decorated beautifully. We were given menus and were spoilt for choice. We choose 7 dishes and each one was full of flavour and piping hot. The Mediterranean Sea bass and nasi goreng were my favourite. Tom also came and spoke to us. The staff were very professional, friendly and welcoming. The drinks were well priced and the deals were excellent. A thoroughly enjoyable night with delicious food in a restaurant that had a lovely ambience. Would definitely recommend and will return. Ver carta
