Courtyard And Brasserie

Tasty food, service is good. A lot of place. Loch Tay is near by. Excellent place for lunch, dinner or late evening meal

The brasserie was ok, the food and drinks were very expensive, £47 for a beef baguette, pizza, a side of chips 2 drinks. !

the personal was beautiful and the food and drinks from a high standard. the open fire smoked the area a little, but was probably only used wet wood. was dog and child friendly. large selection of alcohols available. Ver carta

Often drop in for lunch. Lovely place very comfortable and if you have a dog with you then no problems as they are permitted. Choice to sit inside or out, and food is always very quickly served up and is of really good standard, and the coffee is superb. Staff always very friendly too.

brilliant night for birthday parties. new management team have worked wondering and along with their team, the courtyard have much better, from beginning to end the service was 5* and they could not do enough for us. Eating and drinking service was fast but not hurrying. in the evening it really enjoyed and will be back again and again.

Visited for lunch with friends after a morning hike round and up Kenmore Hill. Will all had the Steak Sandwich, which was excellent, with the steak on each cooked to each individual's taste. Leather sofas were lovely and comfortable and along with the open wood fire resulted in a restful and very pleasant visit. Service was first class. Ver carta

Booked for bistro . On arrival was ushered into a room that looked like a badly decorated 1950s B and B. and was obviously not the bistro. No-one seemed aware that we had booked and the place was empty and devoid of any atmosphere. Menu was limited and not as advertised on the website. 80s/90s pop music was continuously blaring on the speakers. Having been reccomended I will not be returning.

Sunday in the Armathwaite Hall brasserie was very nice. No beef only turkey but that's fine. Bit disappointed with standards, people in spa robes and kids playing on phones with volume loud....suppose that's the parents fault. Best bit was when someone in the kitchen dropped the F Bomb and the noisy kid heard and repeated it....was like a Fawlty Towers episode. Young waiter was very polite despite trying circumstances. Tried to charge us full price despite having a Sunday Lunch voucher for 2 that didn't cover the cost of Sunday Lunch for 2. Lovely lunch but wouldn't rush back.

very accommodating restaurant. the staff is friendly, eating is great, the prices are good. we had booked a larger than normal table (15 of us.) the courtyard had arranged two tables to give us the opportunity to outside or inside which I thought was very attentive and very appreciated in view of the constantly changing weather. we have preordered our meal times that came out quickly and hot on the day. great work through the kitchen and restaurant staff. I advise everyone to book large numbers to contact with the courtyard by phone or email to discuss menu options and seating order. just to notice who wants to eat outside, there is now a wood hut that can host some tables. google maps image...
