The Craven Arms - Carta

Beautiful traditional inn! Discovered it along a hiking trail and thoroughly enjoyed the Sunday roast. My friend had an amazing tuna steak. It’s a hidden gem in the Cotswolds, with a warm family atmosphere and friendly host. Highly recommended!

I went to this restaurant with my family, including my vegan in-laws, and we all found plenty of delicious options to choose from. The food was really tasty. I was also pleased to see that they offer three different options for doggy dinners if you bring your furry friend along!

Lovely little place. The food was better than expected. TBH, if the ambiance was adjusted (slightly different place settings, a little bit less casual maybe, and improved presentation) then the food would be good enough to get the place a decent reputation as a higher end restaurant. Ver carta

absolute jewel of a pub hidden in the cotswolds. beautiful selection of beer and amazing food. many parking spaces and tables outside (if weather allowed! almost no signal, but free wlan is available. ask the personal for the password. very pleasant staff, which remained and was friendly.

The experience was delightful! I enjoyed a delicious roast beef, while my partner had a vegetarian steak. It was a great treat, although it felt a bit pricey. We paid £50 for two Sunday roasts, 2 drinks, and 1 dessert, plus a 12.5% service charge. They accidentally gave me a vegetarian Yorkshire pudding, but overall it was a wonderful treat!

We had a lovely dining experience at a traditional Cotswold pub. The baguettes were quite large but slightly dry and, for my taste, a bit bland (though I prefer my cheese to be more robust). I found the additional service fee added to the bill made the cost a bit steep. The Craven Arms is set in a beautiful location, and the surroundings have remained charming since my last visit, maintaining the character of the place. The service was excellent!
