"If you're in western Brittany, don't miss the opportunity to visit Huelgoat a pretty village around a lake, plus a valley with exciting granite rock formations and forest walks. There are loads of places to eat during the summer season but, having tried a...number of them, I recommend the Creperie des Myrtilles in the main square. There's space to eat both inside and outside, and the deck in the square itself catches the summer sun at lunchtime (shaded by parasols if you wish). And NB, unlike many other restaurants, the toilet was clean, commodious and with luxury loo paper! Their traditional crepes are fantastically light, and their fillings varied and interesting. We ordered La Complete (ham, cheese, egg and smoked sausage), La Forestiere (crème fraiche, bacon, garlic and mushrooms), La Qui Pique (chorizo, tomato and onion) and La Sucrée Salée (goat's cheese and bacon, with cherry jam and salad). For pudding, we shared La Pom Pom Pom (caramelised apples, caramel, crumble and ice cream). Despite the name, it was superb like a tarte tatin in a crepe. The accompanying cidre, in traditional Breton bowls, was the perfect accompaniment. Service was quick and friendly, and the crepes themselves, once ordered, came astonishingly quickly. An enjoyable lunch."

Excellent crêperie. Reserved late and kindly found us a table. Excellent galette, adaptation for children so desired with wheat crêpe for salt. Original pancakes and pancakes and a smiling service.

We called here for lunch en route to the ferry at Roscoff. Friendly service, good range of crepes (with organic flour), excellent Specials - both galettes and froment. We really enjoyed our stop here - a great find!

Been to this establishment many times over last 20 years. New owners have transferred an old building fairly recently into a smart welcoming restaurant with a good choice of crepes. Situated in the main square of a Huelgoat it has good parking outside. The village...itself is the centre of the tourism in the area with a beautiful lake, interesting landcape of massive granite boulders, secret grottos and wooded valleys.
