"The staff are always so accommodating. The perfect value vs taste cafe. You will not find a better coffee and cake for a cheaper price than at Lisbon Bakery, period. You always leave feeling like you forgot to pay for something but its just that good! Ditch the Costa, and try some real artisan cakes, coffee and meals at Lisbon and you will not regret it. A true local gem and a perfect spot if your a student with time for a cat up with friends in between exams. Also, look up if you're visiting. They have an amazing selection of alcohol within variety you would struggle to find anywhere else in the city. The lemoncello will happily make the transition between meal to cake a flawless experience Wheelchair accessibility: Indoors there are no steps just a small inclined ramp. Entrance has a lip, but the staff met me at the door with a sturdy fold out ramp before I even had a chance to ask when I visited with friends who required wheelchair access. They also instinctively look for a space or move chairs to accommodate without making you feel like it's a hassle. A much needed reprieve in a cobble laden city that can be quite difficult to navigate if you have a wheelchair! "Good for Turkish food and you get quite authentic flavour. Some of the real cuisine requires stone oven baking but instead uses convection 's in here. Never ordered other than Mediterranean food in the list. I thought might have a good rare 10oz Ribeye steak but a total disappointment. Served a thin cut, thinner as McD patties. Anybody who knows how to cook steak must be aware, thin cut can 't do rare doneness with sear crust. Not even medium doneness can be cooked easily. I don 't think it 's even 10oz and yet with a burger pressed marked on, not a grill marks. The chef doesn 't know about steaks for sure. Better go for my local pub 's steak, 8oz, grilled, thick, prefect doneness and cheaper. To be fair, I still give quite good score for Mediterranean foods served. As for service, depends, most of the waiters are really helpful with one or two is just a meh ."

"I occasionally visit this pleasant little cafe with a good selection of snacks, meals, hot and cold drinks, wines, and other beverages. It is tucked away on a historic street in Plymouth, now surrounded by modern office and residential buildings. It seems to be popular among students and locals. During a visit on a hot day in May 2021, we enjoyed sitting at one of the outdoor tables in a sheltered corner with a view of North St and Sutton Harbour marina in the distance. This spot is friendly, affordable, unpretentious, and away from the hustle and bustle, despite a few cars parked nearby."

"Came in for a short late lunch today. Off peak, maybe four or five other tables occupied. I asked for nachos, she had a chicken burger and dirty fries. We each had a soft drink. The menu seemed to have changed a lot since our previous visit. My nachos were uninspiring, an indifferent guacamole with barely a hint of tomato salsa and a sad drizzle of cheese sauce and something white. The burger took a while to come, having been sat tantalisingly long on the pass. She ate it all but said that it had little flavour and felt that, as with my dish there was a clear sense that the food had been produced without much care for how it would be received or taste. Quite the opposite approach from out past experiences with Hubbox in Truro, Exeter or Old Town Street. Total price today including the drinks about £33. I doubt we will venture in again."

"it wasn't for 4 or 5 years, but I must say I couldn't owe it. a late breakfast, a really good choice on the menu and a beautiful venue. good decor, good background music and delicious food. we had both vegan breakfast and it was a perfect choice. super couple coffees every and wonderful conversation with the beautiful woman opposite me just made it a special opportunity."
