"Warm friendly welcome, table ready prepared for us. Excellent food, the choice was from an extensive menu and all the food was lovely and well presented. Nice atmosphere in the dining room, which was busy. The only slight drawback was the service....although we realised that some guests (ourselves included actually) were known to the staff who chatted to them... we would have appreciated this rather more if we had been given our drinks first! But the quality of all the food was really very good indeed, and no doubt we shall return again soon."

"What a fantastic find! We came across this gem while searching for a quick break during a long journey, and it truly felt magical. It’s a real sanctuary, serving the best Thai food, and the staff were incredibly friendly. The owner extended a warm welcome, and we thoroughly enjoyed the cozy ambiance, especially with the crackling fire on a chilly, rainy night. Our children always ask to return and absolutely loved their meals as well! Thank you for such a wonderful experience!"

"For a sizzling Bank Holiday weekend, this is the place to chill! The chef happily prepared a slightly altered dish for me rather than insist I could only stick to the menu! The choice of local beers and ciders is dizzying with a refreshing tipple for every taste! Despite a busy restaurant, it never seemed crowded and service was swift, considerate and professional. We felt the service was personal and we returned after visiting another local attraction, for afternoon refreshing drinks. Same service with a smile. Be lovely to see soya milk available with coffee, a tiny nuance to take on board and I am sure they will as they have fabulous vegan choices on their menu! Worth stopping by!"

"The food at this restaurant is excellent, with high-quality dishes like roast, fish and chips, and burgers. The staff is friendly and the setting is beautiful, especially outside in the summer. The pie filling was a bit too salty, but I believe it was just a one-time mistake. It would be helpful to double-check with the kitchen. There are plenty of vegetarian options available and the staff is accommodating of dietary restrictions. Parking is ample, and the restaurant is kid-friendly with good outdoor seating. The ground floor is wheelchair accessible. Prices range from £30–40 per person, and the overall experience is rated 5/5 for food, service, and atmosphere. Recommended dishes include the Beef Burger, Hamburger, Fish and Chips, Cauliflower Cheese, Fries, Lamb Meatballs, Steak Night, Roast Beef, and Rump of Lamb."
