Arriving late into Imperia, there was limited choice of venue with restaurants closing up. The Damare were accommodating and extremely patient. Tagliatelle Porcini, a tirimasu and a healthy rosso hit the right notes.

We were a party of three and each had a seafood main dish followed by desert. The mains included homemade pasta with crab, linguine with mixed frutti di mare (seafood) and frittura di calamari. Excellent range of dishes, very high quality seafood and pasta. Good quality house white, reasonably priced. For dessert, I especially recommend the homemade 'semifreddo '. Very welcoming and attentive staff. We eat here a few times a year and will be back! Expect to pay c€25p.p for a 3-course evening meal. Lunch is also a good option and sharing a mains at lunchtime is very acceptable.
