"here we eat well, here we were two nights in a row, and twice we are very satisfied ociti, both with the dishes of land and with the sea. cuttle on chickpeas, brandacujun, borage ravioli, spaghetti with clams, trophies with pesto, Ligurian rabbit, fish of the day. all prepared with care and served in beautiful abundant portions. I read on the white face of the house and agree with other reviews: fresh and pleasant. two notes for the chef: 1. pasta is too much to the tooth, I like it, but I don't believe everyone. 2. the ****: why don't you take the zabaione and replace it with a honey, rosemary and lavender?"

"We drove from Mougins, France to Bordigotta specifically to eat at this restaurant. It was sooo worth it!! It opened at 12:30 pm and we were first to sit down at an outdoor table, warmly prepared. We felt welcome from the moment we sat down. The young lady server (didn’t get her name was attentive and helpful with wine pairings for our meals; Pigato white with our pastas (Trofie with pesto sauce, maccarroni with zucchini and monkfish, and gnocchi with tomatoes and fish most tender gnocchi I have ever had! and a beautifully sweet dessert wine (Passito with our Black Cherry Parfait, Cheeaecake and Passionfruit Sorbet and Tiramisu. Dessert was outstanding! The service was mindful of letting us relax and knowing when we were ready to move on… simply wonderful. This special trip for this meal was so very worth it; treat yourself right and have a meal at this restaurant!"

"Too bad, at the 2nd service of 13:45, we waited over 25 minutes to finally order. Then the waitress totally ignored us by serving the last arrival. Finally, it was the boss who took our order and after 45 minutes we were finally able to eat. So surprise, the restaurant had no bread, never seen. We spent 1 h 45 for a dish and a dessert. A waitress who spends his time blowing, overflowing. I advise him to change his profession. The dishes are excellent and the value ratio is very correct, what sadness to eat in such an atmosphere."

"We visited Il Giardino del Gusto in November of 2019 while on vacation with our family from Toronto, Canada. Where to start?! The menu looked appetizing but that 's about it--our first plates came out rather cold and were SO SMALL (I ordered the prawns and I was given two measly pieces of shrimp... really? . When I inquired our waiter, Marco, why the portions were so small he said in a cavalier way Welcome to Italy! . Um, okay. By the time our main dishes came out, we were ready for the bill. The portion-controlled sizes of the dishes continued to mimic those of a tasting menu at a 5* Michelin restaurant, however, the taste was altogether lacking. Most of our family members don 't even remember what they ate here, it was that non-memorable. My husband, who ordered the fresh fish of the day, said the fish tasted farm-raised and was definitely not freshly caught. No excuse!! Ventimiglia is RIGHT on the water. Daiiiii! The kicker was the waitstaff drama that we witnessed. Voices were raised between the restaurant manager, Maria, and our waiter, Marco, who seemed to be involved in some sort of cheating lover 's quarrel! I kid you not, our Canadian family members who speak Italian were shocked at what was said between them. While not all of us spoke Italian, we got the gist of their drama. All together this restaurant has a very unprofessional atmosphere and the food is overpriced and not fresh to boot. The sommelier, Anna, was very helpful however in making sure that we had our bellies full of good, French and Italian wines. Skip the waitstaff drama, poor food, and small portions--in short, find another place to eat in Ventimiglia!"

"We had other place in mind but was recommended this place by a local in Nice. People in France come here to eat as supposedly cheaper by 30 . This place was trendy looking and had a mix of tourist and locals. Very reasonably price drinks 4 Euro beer or glass of wine or 6 Euro Aperol. The pastas were between 12 16 Euro which is not a bargain but good quality. We had the Tagu Vongule (clam mussels pasta classic for 16 Euro. Was very good except for the hair we found. We didn't make a big stink but they compensated our bill by 6 Euro to our surprise. We also tried the Sausage with eggplant ravioli which was very good too for 14 Euro. Had a beer wine and a 5 Euro Tiramisu which was good. Pleasant place and the best thing no cover charge. We walked out happy despite the minor problem. Thanks guys but i wish you would print out a menu in English instead of relying on menu on line for those without a sim card."
