"my first (and so far only visit at waldtraud is about two quarters back. together with my then theater group, we have the celebration of the successful conclusion of our winter / Christmas ski play there twenty to eat. the table had reserved our director in advance. at the weekend it had foamed hard for the first time and was smooth, so it was probably not quite as full as usual. we were served very fast and friendly. my man has ordered 2 rumpsteaks for Valentine's Day. the meat was excellent at the place exactly fried and came hot to house. compliment to the kitchen. we will repeat that. I made the supplements myself.

very nice atmosphere through the direct location on the edge of the forest and the large window fronts. the service is not always even friendly. there are enormous variations in eating: from very tasty hand cheese with three species from wobble to a dry trout.

This has to be one of the best restaurants for food I've ever been to. Flew over from England on business and work colleague recommended eating here. Food was rich and delicious. Service was good. Beer was fantastic! I dream of going back one day if I fly back over.

Can only agree with other reviews: nice location lots of space even when busy. Food was basic but pretty decent. The disappointing aspect was the friendly but terribly slow/disorganised service (a little irritating too given that customers are told they only have 2 hours to eat up and leave! .

In beautiful weather very well visited, indoor and outdoor gastronomy with very delicious food (small but special menu) cheaper a bit higher. Super organized for Corona. Building pretty new and the toilets are quite clean despite many guests. Parking available. We sat outside, the tables have a proper distance and were disinfected. The waiters wear mouth protection and are friendly. Very recommended.

Culinary flights cannot be expected here, but the Waldtraut does not have this claim. For a day trip the selection is very good, the dishes are all very tasty, handmade well made and the portions are so big that you get tired even after a long hike.
