I ordered the carving with potato salad. we had a good time, but the prices for all the main were over and beer...was coming out of paris or Scandinavia, which is not too bad, but definitiw expensive for local standards. the division of the bill came for each of us with a beer and a main dish. so likely to pay the price for a central location next to one of the most important sights in a few."

Excellent food and service, friendly staff. We took a Schnitzel and beef and both were Superb! Good wheat beer and nice desert (Apfelstrudel).

A traditional bavarian restaurant. The food is excellent but probably only for meat lovers as their speciality is large portions of eisbein and the like. Observant vaiters in lederhosen.

We visited twice on a recent trip to Munich. Food and service were excellent and they made us (including our baby son) feel very welcome. Also worth mentioning that they have Hacker-Pschorr from the Holzfaß as standard worth going to that alone.

a traditional house in the middle of the city. unfortunately it is also a huge tourist hunting. the price-performance ratio is not right here, it is unfortunately a bit expensive for the quality and size of the portions. the service was beautiful

From the very beginning the service was unbelievable bad. We have reserved for the night, however, were asked to leave the premises. The waiter approached us in an incredibly rude manner. Whole experience was as bad at it can get. Will never go there again!

obviously a tourist trap that can be good. location is great. do not eat excellent - only partly Bavarian. the beer itself is not bad, but it is clear that they do not fill the glasses as they should be served over the line. so it seems to be a business standard.

This is a great traditional, Bavarian restaurant where the servers where Dirndl and Lederhosen. The food is spectacular with rich taste and of high quality. The atmosphere is superb, sophisticated yet laid back. Above all, it's a place where the locals eat which really creates...an authentic experience for a foreigner like myself. (Disclaimer: This may just be because it's covid when no tourists are allowed in the country).
