Ding Dong - Menú

We had a lovely meal. The staff were very nice and helpful as we didn’t know exactly what we wanted and they helped with the order.

Absolutely delicious, however and a portions. Ding Dong if you do read this please make your portions bigger : Nice to eat in or take away!

Favourite restaurant in Upminster. Good portions and outstanding value. Regularly eat in and its never too busy. Also very generous glasses of house wine.

The food at this restaurant is consistently delicious. I have tried a few Asian restaurants in Upminster/Hornchurch, and this one is definitely the best for takeout.

Great food, delicious pad thai and gyozas. Also ordered katsu curry which was very nice! Friendly service and fast delivery only waited 30mins on a saturday nite! Nee favourite local takeaway will order again!

I’ve eaten here about 10 times now and slowly getting through the menu! Everything I’ve tried has been really good, the sushi is amazing, and the portions are very generous (including the wine! . We never struggle to get a table, and the service is quick and welcoming.

Sadly despite hearing good things we ordered a take away but was sadly disappointed. Nowhere near as good as Sukhothai in Hornchurch. All dishes were bland and very average. One dish said on the menu it took hours to prepare/cook sadly I cant believe it was worth the chefs time

I went to this restaurant on a Friday evening at 7pm and only three tables were occupied. By 8.30pm, no more tables had been filled. The staff were helpful and the drinks were good. We mainly ordered sushi in a tapas style, as well as prawn tempura and soft shell crab. The food, service, and value were all excellent, but there was something off about the atmosphere. Maybe some Japanese background music or a busier crowd would help. Despite this, I would definitely come back again. Even my picky mother had nothing bad to say, which says a lot.

The restaurant had a utilitarian feel, with basic table and chairs, minimal decoration, and lacking in ambiance. We were the only customers dining during peak hours in the middle of the week, which made us a bit uneasy about our meal choice. However, we were pleasantly surprised by the quick arrival of our starters, particularly the delicious Gyoza. The Pad Thai was also excellent, as well as the large platter of fresh and flavorful sushi. Despite the lackluster atmosphere, we are excited to return and may consider donating some decorative items to spruce up the place.
